Poppleton Rec Center input meeting
Work is being done to "revitalize" the Poppleton Recreation Center. In the process, the goal is to obtain robust community input for the type of programs offered and diverse populations to be served and have asked us to share with Union Square residents. In collaboration with the Southwest Sports & Fitness Alliance, information is being collected in two ways:
1. Electronic Survey: https://forms.gle/ztao 2QZ zHZ 9qJbc9
2. In-person: Saturday, January 28th from 11am-1pm @ UMB-Community Engagement Center OR Saturday, February 11th from 11 am- 1 pm @ The Allen AME Church
In addition to filling out the survey, in-person participants will also have an opportunity to engage in a "Q & A session" with other community members & stakeholders. This will be an ongoing activity in efforts to gain ongoing input as well as to keep stakeholders informed of the progress of the Poppleton Rec project. This Greater Model Rec Center project is in collaboration with the Church of Nativity, Lowe's Companies, Southwest Sports and Fitness Alliance, Poppleton NOW! Neighborhood Association, Baltimore City Rec & Parks, and community stakeholders. Thanks for your participation & please do share!
